Things are happening with Photography by Lamar. Looks like I will be expanding
my services to the St.Francisville area. This is going to entail adding a laptop to
my set of Macintosh computers. All of my other Macs and apps are running on a
Power PC processor, I never moved up to the current Intel processor. So, to
make things easier in the laptop transition, I decided to look for the latest
generation Power PC Powebook refurb. Did my Internet search and found
They are an authorized Apple reseller and they had an Aluminum PowerBook
G4/1.67GHz 17" at a good price and it was refurbed by Apple so I was able to
pick up three years of AppleCare at about $120.00 a year. The AppleCare will
take care of any problems that might creep up in the unit. I'll keep you updated about the
quality of thePowerBook and the service from PowerMax.
Ordered the unit on the 7th, got a confirmation on the 8th, and today I
received shipment tracking and it was shipped out on the 8th. So far,
good commmunication and service.
