The BookArc is a laoptop stand for Macbook. It is a good idea? While held upright, the MacBook has a smaller desk footprint and is surrounded by lovely, cooling air. This is for people who regularly hook up their notebook to an external display and keyboard. The BookArc is an elegant arch of metal with a silicon insert to allow a snug and scratch-free fit.

Use your iPhone to find a pizza place

You're on a trip. You want to order in pizza. What's the easiest way to do this on your iPhone? Open up Maps and tap the "locate me button" at the bottom-left corner of your screen. Wait for Google Maps to find you and then type "Pizza" into the search box and tap Search. Maps automatically searches near the "locate me" results--finding all the pizza delivery services near your actual location. Tap on any blue "disclose" button to find the phone, home page, and address for each item.

Of course, you're not limited to pizza. Search for shoe repair or pediatricians or any other retail type or service.

Yes, I tried it and it works!

Frozen iPhone

Yes, believe it or not, your fantastic iPhone can freeze up.
But, don't be worried, there is a simple fix.
Just hold down the "menu" and "sleep" buttons.
You'll be up and running right away.

Address Book and Google Maps

I've just come across a really cool feature when you use the Macintosh Address  Book.
It is now intergrated with Google Maps.  You can find someone in your Address Book,
either right click over the address or "Control" click if you have a one button mouse
and Google Maps pops up showing you the location.
