It is so much fun watching little ones grow up. This time of the year, Elsong Gardens is a beautiful place for portraits.

I had the opportunity to work with Hallie in preparing her publicity images. She is one vivacious lady
and lots of fun to photography.
Be sure to check out her video on YouTube

Another great production is taking place at Strauss Theatre.
Ladies First premieres October 23rd just in time for the election.
Forget the McCain/Obama debates?here?s where the real fireworks are! The play runs three weekends through November 9th.
Enjoy this brief look at one of the great cast members:

Guys need cool socks. Sometimes black just doesn't cut it. If you want something special, get out on the Web
and see what's there. I found a great little place with some great sock, go check out

Needed to get back into the swing of things, so I've started working on all of the print orders that have
been waiting for me. Saw this image from Stephaine & Michael's engagement session and thought you needed to see it too.

Just incase you were wondering, yes, we survived. Gustav gave the state of Louisiana a mighty blow.
We in the Monroe area were affected by high wind and plenty of rain. We were without power and Internet
Sunday through Thursday but didn't have any wind damage or flooding. Really happy to get electricity
and Web access back. You really don't know how much you depend upon the utilitiy companies until
their services are gone. Hope you and yours got through the storms OK and our thoughts and prayers
go out to those who got the worst of it.
Keep that smile going, Lamar

Yes, we've got hurricanes approaching and people are fleeing,
but New Orleans is here to stay
and Louisiana is here to stay!
After Rita and Katrina, NOLA RISING was born.
NoLa Rising is a post-Katrina art campaign encouraging people in all faubourgs of Greater New Orleans to publicly display works of art, regardless of how simple or untutored it may seem to be, for the purpose of rebuilding and restoring the human spirit in our city. NOLA is a unique and beautiful city that has historically embraced the spirit of personal freedom that supports the growth of the artist, musician and writer ... the goal of the NoLa Rising Project is to showcase that spirit.
