Sometimes you get the rare opportunity to say "thanks" to the people who helped make you who you are.
This week, I had that opportunity. Other than my grandfather and my dad, no one influenced me more
than my high school football coach (Tioga High School, Tioga, Louisiana 1963-1967).
We made contact and I headed over to Liberty, Mississippi, to visit
with Coach and his lovely wife. Oh the stories, the memories, the tales, the laughs, the people we miss;
it was a visit that I will always remember. When you get that chance to say "thanks" to those people who
helped shape you, take it.
