Do you ever have one of those "slap yourself on your head"
Macintosh moments? Well, I did. Here I am trying to figure out how to
have my calendars accessable. I got it to where I can get to my calendar
by going online, from anyone's computer. That solved being away
from my desk, but it still didn't give me a calendar that I could carry
around.
"Slap!"............................
I always have my shoulder bag with me, in that
shoulder bag is my iPod, iPod has a calendar function. Dummy me,
I had what I was looking for all along. Since I used iCal, all I have
to do is to sync it through iTunes to my iPod. Now, each time I sync, it
updates my calendars. Isn't this cool? It only takes me years to figure
out what I've got, but I will figure it out!

I was looking for a way to store files on the Web, so I could
access them from anywhere. While listening to the MacNotables
podcast, I heard about box.net. Here's a great way to store files and
make them available for sharing, if you wish. Check it out.

A good friend of mine and fellow photographer just posted this photo
from Ventura County on flickr.com. I was immediately taken back to
when I was around 6 years old, sitting on the sidewalk in San Diego
watching the charros and vaqueros and their silver covered saddles.
Whoa,
what a flashback!
Check out Warner's work on flickr.

I've made my new web site active, it's still under construction but it is
online. I'm planning on using the site to promote destination weddings
in the St.Francisville, Louisiana area. St.Francisville is loaded with
gorgeous plantation homes that are perfect for wedding functions.
More as all of this gets going. Drop by and check it out and watch for
the updates.

Decided to add one more little bit of explosive triva from Northeast
Louisiana, the implosion of Olin Hall at ULM. Back in the 70's, I lived
at Olin Hall and now it is no more.

Just found this youtube video about the bridge coming down
on Monday. I traveled that bridge many times on our trips on
Highway 165 between Monroe and Tioga.
